MWS offers endless crane options from 1/4 ton to 20 ton capacity in free standing, ceiling hung or even hybrid designs. While most production shops benefit from very simple 1 or 2 ton bridge cranes, we can design the most complex systems as well. From Interlocks to shared columns between systems and driven bridges, all of these options can be considered to enhance productivity.

We can often design a closed track system free-standing or ceiling hung or even, a hybrid system with floor supports on one end, ceiling hung on the other end.
Ceiling Hung Cranes
Often our customers can make modifications with regards to design load, bridge width, or total number of bridges included, and their building will accommodate. It’s our policy to fully engineer point loads, or this would be the responsibility of the customer to independently higher an engineer to review.
Mono-Rail
For production lines traveling straight forward a single or parallel Mono-Rail Crane truss may provide a very favorable configuration.
It is not uncommon to have free standing or ceiling supported Mono-rail cranes running down stream of the assembly process with multiple powered hoist and below hook attachments to hold Sub-assemblies in place while bolted or welded connections are made.
Wall Mounted Jib Cranes
A great addition to lift products from material handling storage equipment or tooling centers such as plate steel Storage racks or roll out racking. Jibs swing into position with ease and allow products to be picked up and quickly rotate to a machine cart or building full pallets.
POD System
Would you like to install a Jib Crane but don’t like the cost of
expensive concrete footings ? Typical floor mounted jib cranes require cutting concrete floors and pouring large in floor concrete footing blocks that are messy and expensive.
You can eliminate this process while implementing a high quality free-standing jib crane by using the new Kundel POD anchoring System.

Fall Protection System
MWS offers fall protection systems to enable workers complete fall protection to carry out their work while at height.
We offer the proven Met-Track – Rigid Rail Fall Protection System which offers many advantages over traditional wire based systems, one of which is that in the event of the fall the profile will not stretch, unlike its wire alternative!
This minimized the fall distance which in turn further reduces the likelihood of injury from the fall. Another great benefit of the Met-Track Rigid Rail system is the ability to have multiple rail configurations, allowing users the ability to pass one another while carrying out their work.

Fully Customizable Below Hook Grippers & Lifters
MWS can help you resolve your tooling center handling challenges with a customized Vacuum or Mechanical Gripper or Lifter. If you need to lift and rotate raw material into a machining center as well as move between production stages we can review the application and propose a turnkey solution integrated with a crane arm from Electric to Air power actuated operation.
