Forklift Operated Sheet Steel Storage
Sheet Tower Storage using your forklift
MWS offers a Vertical rack that utilizes a storage cartridge to replace and improve upon pallets and clutter, while doubling storage space, allowing for increased productivity and safety. By freeing a considerable amount of floor space, the Sheet Tower allows personnel to move more freely and securely within the workspace. The additional floor
space also allows for additional production machinery within the
same layout, for increased productivity.
The Sheet Tower Cartridge is placed in a storage location and retrieved
With a forklift when needed. The cartridge capacity is 5,000 # and allows Storage of many different types of sheet material. Cartridges reduce wood Piles and debris on the shop floor. Cartridges have 3 lips per side to keep material In place and from falling off when transported with a lift truck.
Sheet Steel Storage

Two Options are available for Sheet Steel storage racks. We offer Fixed or Hinged Rollout Frames that are flexible and modular in design that can be reconfigured At a later date. Reduce set-up time and labor hours by eliminating the need For a forklift to move and find material during change-over. Unclutter floor Staging areas with various sheet steel groups lying around the floor path.

Fixed Frame Racks: Occupy the required floor space at all times and is always ready to roll a drawer into picking location. Obviously, more floor space is consumed with the fixed frame but options are endless.

Hinged Frame Racks: Consists of two swing-out sections hinged left and right and when not in, use the section close up. When closed, the hinged frames secures your materials and protects against unauthorized access. Drawers extend 100%.
Lumber Cradle Racks
Offer cost effective storage for lumber yards needing to store open bundles of lumber 8 to 10’ in length. Our removable Pipe Socket design allows you to set a full bundle into the rack with your forklift, replace the support posts and cut the banding on the bundle.
You can also pick up the entire rack and move it with your forklift to load trucks or reposition in the yard space.

Single or Double
Crank out Cantilever can be configured in single or double sided storage. Drawer Depths of 20” to 48” in 6” increments are available to store products from 8’ in length to 20’ in length. Store bundles of 5,000 # to 15,000 Based on Column Center to Center Spacing and bundle heights.

Closed Steel Pans & Dividers. The open Structure Allows slings to pass through the cross member spaced every 24” on center.

Fully Closed Steel Pre-galvanized pans install directly on top of the arms and offer storage for full length and cut pieces shorter in length that you want to save for a future project. We bend the pans to fit directly on top of the arms without losing any free space.

Does MWS manufacture lumber cradles in different sizes?
MWS offers several size lumber cradles for different length bundles. The basic cradle works well with most 8′ bundles but we can produce a cradle for 12′ to 16′ product lengths as well.
My warehouse has different manufactured equipment, will MWS quote us their brand?
Many customers have purchased different brands of equipment but would like to see a quote for our brand. We can produce a quote comparable in design differences might be small details like drives, paint colors or style.
