FOOD MANUFACTURING –  IOWA

MWS, Inc. recently completed a Double Deep Reach Selective Pallet Rack System, providing our customer with storage for 736 total pallet positions, room for shelving, a stretch wrapper, staging for 24 pallets and dock access, all in 9,700 square feet of space.

The Double Deep Reach System, back to back rows without a center aisle, was set up for Double Deep Reach Trucks. This SOLUTION adds value by maximizing the cubic storage footprint needed and eliminating aisles. The elimination of the center aisle saves anywhere from 9′ to 12′ of aisle spacing.

MANUFACTURING – IOWA

MWS, Inc. supplies Unarco Cantilever Racking for storage of long length raw goods for manufacturing. Cantilever should be properly sized to securely support the product length and weight.

We will measure your products and bundles sizes to determine the correct arm length, capacity and support centers to provide the best dynamic solution for your warehouse.

This Narrow Aisle Selective and Push Back Rack racking layout was created for the expansion of an existing Distribution Business.

The layout was created to optimize storage space and use with Drexel forklifts in 99” clear aisle spacing.
The racking stores 5 pallets high in the 96” rack bays and 3 pallets high in the 12’ wide tunnel bays.

Gain Back Valuable Square Feet with a Work Platform!

Mezzanines / Work Platforms are cost-effective steel structures that serve as secondary floors and transform previously unused vertical space into profitable storage space.  Our customer did not have any more room to expand at ground level, so he decided to go vertical with the ceiling height he had.  MWS was able to design a mezzanine to fit his service center layout and install it before the busy season began.

MWS, Inc. provided a Security Cage and Pallet Rack for a tool crib. Our security cage provides safe and secure storage for expensive tooling and consumable items checked out of inventory.

We can design almost any configuration needed for security cages, door options, and height of fence panels. The Pallet Racking used came directly from our In-Stock Inventory.

Smart Solutions for In-Plant Space Utilization

Modular In-Plant Offices are an easy, fast, and cost-effective way to add space to your facility.   MWS, Inc. sold and installed this Modular In-Plant office to centralize the warehouse staff on the production floor. It was configured with Modular electrical and lighting. The 12’ x 16’ structure was installed in 2 working days.

Stanley Vidmar Stak 2K

6 bay add-on system consisting of columns, bracing and 70 pallets

This Stak System was built to house spare parts for a manufacturer.

26 Bay Stak System designed for 2,000 # Pallets. The system is 132’ long by 16’3” wide, provides 32 – 48” wide x 48” deep bays and 20 – 52” wide x 48” deep bays.

Overall height of the system is 15’ 6” tall, with cantilever overhang for dropping pallets off at the end of the system.

The following Pallet Flow system was relocated to this facility, MWS, Inc. reconfigured the racking to fit the building layout. The system starts and stops around columns creating 4 groups of storage.

Each section of storage will provide 5 pallets deep x 4 levels high x 4 or 5 bays long – storing around 360 total pallet positions.

MWS, Inc. provided light duty pallet racking for dry van 53’ trailers. The storm trailers provided by the supplier, stocked with inventory and delivered to electric coops as needed for storm repair.

Here is a Pallet Flow project we designed for a distribution company needing a better solution for space utilization and access to consumable goods.

The two deep system offers the ability to store 4 pallets high x 2 deep in each bay and straddles a walk through door way. This allows us to store 40 pallets in roughly 160 square feet of floor space.

BUILDING MATERIALS – IOWA

MWS recently provided teardown, relocation and installation of pallet rack for a building materials supplier. Our installation crew dismantled the customers existing rack in Iowa & Minnesota and relocated it to the customer’s new building to be installed with the new pallet rack BOM that MWS provided.
