Single-level Mezzanines are the most common mezzanines and are designed with a standard column layout, 3-rail handrail, slide gates, and stairs. Steel shelving is used underneath in single and back-to-back rows for picking and stocking access. The slide gate on the deck level offers a way for a product to be lifted on and off the mezzanine as needed with a forklift. Single level mezzanines are designed to span over the top of traditional carton flow and shelving to create a pick module.
